The corrosion resistance of aluminized and galvanized steel coils is mainly due to the protective function of aluminum. When zinc is abraded, aluminum forms a dense layer of alumina, which prevents further corrosion of corrosion-resistant substances.
The atmospheric corrosion resistance is 2-3 times of that of conventional hot-dip galvanized sheet, and it has good coat ability and weldability.
