Automobile Structural steel is mainly divided into two categories: one is automobile body steel, which constitutes the outer shell and skeleton of the automobile; the other is alloy structural steel for automobile, which is the core of the automobile engine, transmission system, suspension system, etc.
A: Automobile body steel
1. The steel for exterior body of automobile body is mainly used for manufacturing front, rear, left and right door outer panels, engine cover outer panels, trunk lid outer panels and the like. It should have good forming ability, corrosion resistance, concave resistance and good weldability. The exterior panels of the automobile body are mostly coated with plates to meet the anti-corrosion requirements. In order to improve the anti-concave property, bake-hardened steel, high-strength IF steel and high-formity cold-rolled annealed duplex steel (such as DP450) are often used.
2. Steel for inner body panels
