Galvalume color coated sheet is a new material produced in recent years due to high-end applications in China. It is made of galvalume steel sheet (55% aluminum, 43% zinc and 1.6% silicon) with better corrosion resistance than galvanized steel sheet, which is treated by degreasing, phosphating and complexing, and coated with organic paint and baked.
The composition of the coating is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon in weight ratio. The production process of aluminized and galvanized steel sheet is similar to that of galvanized rigid plate and aluminized plate. It is a continuous melting coating process. Compared with galvanized steel sheet with the same thickness, galvanized steel sheet with 55% Al-Zn alloy coating has better corrosion resistance when exposed to the same environment on both sides. Galvalume plated steel with 55% Al-Zn alloy coating not only has good corrosion resistance, but also has excellent adhesion and flexibility.
