On May 5, Turkish hot roll imports were valued at US $585,600 / tonne (CFR), down US $10-15 / tonne from the previous week, and Turkish hot coil exports were valued at US $720,750USD / tonne (FOB) on May 5th, down US $10-20 per tonne from the previous week. According to the Turkish market news, this week Chinese hot rolls in late June ship to Turkey mainstream export quotation of US $585,600USD / ton (CFR), down from last week’s quotation by US $15-20 / tonne. At present, Chinese hot coil quotations have obvious price advantages in the Turkish market. This week Turkey hot volume mainstream export quotation 720-760 US dollars / ton (FOB), down 10-20 US dollars / ton compared with last week, but the actual transaction is light. In addition, Turkey’s cold coil imports were valued at US $700,705USD / ton (CFR) on May 5, a downward trend from US $700,750USD / tonne (CFR) last week. In the second half of this week, China’s exports of cold rolls to Turkey were quoted at US $700-705 per tonne (CFR).
