Welcome to Runfei Steel Group, your trusted steel processing and distribution partner since 1998. We supply premium galvanized steel coils and sheets (GI) for the global construction, automotive, and home appliance industries. Manufactured through a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, our steel is coated with a durable zinc layer (up to Z275) to provide outstanding corrosion resistance. Whether you require regular spangle for corrugated roofing or zero spangle for precision painting, browse our inventory below for reliable, factory-direct coated steel solutions.
We’re happy to help you find the best option for your application.
Since 1998, Tianjin Runfei Trade Co., Ltd. has specialized in the comprehensive supply and processing of coated steel products. Our galvanized steel (widely known as GI) is produced by immersing cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel into a bath of molten zinc. This process creates a tightly bonded metallurgical protective layer that shields the base metal from rust and harsh environmental elements. With our 300,000-ton processing capacity in the Tianjin Hangu Industrial Park, we ensure every coil meets strict international quality standards (ASTM, EN, JIS).
We maintain a robust inventory of galvanized coils ready for immediate custom slitting and cut-to-length services:
Zinc Coating Weight: From lightweight Z40 up to heavy-duty Z275 (grams per square meter), offering varying degrees of corrosion protection based on your project’s lifespan requirements.
Steel Grades: We supply commercial, drawing, and structural quality grades, including the highly popular DX51D+Z, SGCC, CS, and high-strength S250GD to S350GD+Z.
Spangle Variations: Custom aesthetics to match your application—choose from Regular Spangle (traditional crystalline look), Minimized Spangle, or Zero Spangle (smooth finish for high-end painting).
Surface Treatment: Options include chromated, non-chromated (RoHS compliant), oiled, un-oiled, and anti-fingerprint (AFP) finishes.
Due to its excellent formability, weldability, and rust resistance, our galvanized steel is the foundational material for countless applications. It is extensively used in manufacturing corrugated roofing sheets, C/Z purlins, HVAC ductwork, light-gauge steel framing, automotive body parts, and household appliance panels.
Q: What is the difference between regular spangle and zero spangle?
A: “Spangle” refers to the visible crystalline structure on the zinc surface. Regular spangle has a traditional, flowery metallic appearance and is often used for unpainted roofing. Zero spangle goes through an extra skin-pass process to create a completely smooth surface, making it the superior choice if you plan to paint the steel (like home appliance panels or automotive parts).
Q: Can galvanized steel be used as a base metal for prepainted coils?
A: Yes. Galvanized steel with a zero or minimized spangle is the most common and excellent substrate for PPGI (Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron). The zinc layer provides primary rust protection, while the color coating adds aesthetic value and a secondary barrier.
Q: Do you offer custom steel processing before export?
A: Absolutely. With our advanced service center in Tianjin, we can slit wide GI coils into narrow strips or cut them into specific flat sheets based on your exact manufacturing requirements prior to seaworthy packaging and shipping.
Our mission is to be the pioneer of product, cost solution and service concept in steel industry chain.
